Whenever i graft the toes of socks using Kitchener Stitch, i always get stumped by the last stitch. What do you do with it exactly? i always end up with a big loop which doesnt go anywhere and i have to trya nd tuck it in unobrtusively.
Im sure thats nit right, but i cant figure out what i am doing to cause this.
has anybody done similar and knows how i can corect it?
I had that same problem…so now what I do is when I get to the last 2 sts I will enter the first st knitwise then go through the other st purlwise…I take them off together and pull tightly…this has seemed to help and the last st doesn’t stretch out like it did when it was all alone
i will try and undo the last couple of stitches on sock one and try that, if i cant i will just tidy it up and use your method on sock 2. thanks.
