Slouch hat

Latest project finished - a slouchy hat requested by my daughter (a mama-to-be) for her birthday. It’s made with Juniper Moon Farm’s Moonshine yarn, which is 40% Peruvian wool,40% baby alpaca and 20% silk. Just the loveliest stuff ever! The actual color is a dark, shimmery forest green. And the finished fabric is simply heavenly to touch. It was a complicated knit with a 16 row set and every single row different, repeated 4 times. It was a challenge, but perseverance won!IMG_1208

Looks fabulous and sounds very complicated. What an achievement!

It’s a stunning hat and will look grand on the new mom! Congratulations to all of you.
Juniper Moon Farm’s yarns are just plain yummy, soft and beautiful to work with and wear.

Creations,
There were many moments when I was thinking “I’m going to just knit the rest of this thing!”. Thank you for the attagirl!

salmonmac,
I swear I heard your voice saying " you can do this" and helped me put one needle in front of the other with the pattern. I am really glad I discovered this yarn; it’s the start of a beautiful friendship…

Would you be willing to share the name of the pattern of this beautifully knitted hat?

Absolutely! - this is the Ramla hat & scarf pattern from Juniper Moon Farm and I purchased it at my local yarn shop. I see that you can buy it from Knitting Fever.
