Sloped bind off question

i’m looking at the sloped bind-off. i understand how to have it slope on the right side, but how about the left side? like if it’s a back of a sweater and i want to do the armholes or shoulder shaping?

I’m not sure what you mean by sloped bind off.

Do you mean using short rows to form the shoulders vs. actual binding off??

yes!! the short rows for a sloped bind off!

You do the short rows for the left side of the back of the sweater on the purl side, purling until you get to the point where you would have bound off and wrapping. So basically like the knit side, but only in purl. Is that enough?
