Hello! Okay…I’m stuck…UGH!!! I’ve been knitting for a little over a year, and I’ve mastered knitting a sock however I can’t seem to figure out how to shape the neck of this sweater! The pattern tells me to slip the first 7 stitches onto a holder then finish the row. My question is the strand I need to finish the row is on the stitch holder. How do I continue to knit? Hopefully I’m being clear…LOL. I’ve read it a million times and just keep staring at my piece going “duh”??? It just looks very odd to me and I’m afraid to try what I think is right b/c I don’t have alot of patience when it comes to fixing mistakes  Thanks for any help!!!
When that happens, I knit across those 7 stitches first, and then slip them to a holder. That’s usually a result of a pattern that hasn’t had enough testing.
