This pattern I am working on is baby booties, the section in the pattern I am up to tells me K9,p2,k2,p2, then leave the remaining sts unworked (there is 24sts)
. Next step says to Slip all sts with yarn in front. I don’t understand what it means to leave the remaining sts then slip all sts? I understand ‘yarn in front’ but that’s all. Hope this is not confusing??

You don’t slip [I]all[/I] the sts, but the ones you do slip, do so with the yarn in front. After leaving the remaining sts unworked, do you turn and slip the first st? Slip that one with the yarn in front.
