Sleeves and raglan

I have a few questions!
I’m making a baby cardigan and am up to making my first sleeve.

  1. Am I right in thinking that the instructions are just telling me to continue with the 1st and 2nd row exactly like it’s written out?
  2. Where it says yfwd, s1, k1 do I put the yarn back after the s1 or do k1 with the yarn forward?
  3. When I come to make the 2nd sleeve do I need to adjust the pattern somehow?

Sorry the pictures seem to have come out the wrong way. Shape raglan is the first part which continues on the 2nd picture x

Thanks for the photos.
Yes, continue with rows 1&2 for the raglan shaping.

The yarn will go to the back in order to k1. Yfwd is a yarn over. Take the yarn strand to the front between the needles, slip one then bring the yarn over the right needle to the back to k1.

The sleeves may or may not be the same. What is the name of your pattern?

Thank you for that. If I put the yarn back to do the k1 will it still create the extra stitch?

The pattern is from Sirdar essential baby book and is just called Design G

Just found it here too https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/design-g---cardigans-and-bonnet

Very sweet!
As long as the yarn comes to the front and then over the right needle to the back it’ll make the eyelet opening and create a stitch.
