Sleeve pattern

I have completed cuff, and have 36 st(sz10). …… graph A, I am confused on number of stitches for sz 10… could you tell me the amount for rows in graph A? And again for start of grah B?

What is the name of your pattern and designer?
It is a confusing graph which might have been clearer if color had been used.
It looks like 38sts and 58 rows to the armhole bind offs for graph B. For graph A, 38sts and 7 rows.

The directions say 36sts but it seems to me that that isn’t what the graph is showing.

I would take a highlighter or colored pencil and draw over the lines for size 10. Use the outside ones for the stair-step sections.

I agree that the graph shows 38 stitches, not 36. But it’s not that big a difference, so follow whichever makes more sense, the graph of the directions.

No wonder you’re confused!

If it was me and I had just finished the rib and increased to 36 I would probably tink back the increase row and increase evenly to 38 sts instead, and that way graph b would make sense, as graph b is the one to be followed for a long time it makes sense to me to correct to those numbers rather than trying to remember to be a stitch out on each row.
Another option may be to increase each end on the very next row after the increase (to 36) row, as increases are coming soon anyway so it may be a suitable place to correct the stitch count.
