Working one stitch in usually is enough to fix the edges which will become part of the seam anyway. If you prefer to work the kfb, then go ahead and use that. That’s a matter of preference and your choice.
It would be good to continue the increase sts in the rib pattern but again, if you choose not to, that’s fine too. Knitting should be fun after all and changing a pattern is part of that.
Ok great thanks!
Hey guys so I’ve been working on the sleeve thanks to your advice/encouragement…what do u think? Looks good so far?
Looks good to me ![]()
That’s it exactly. It’ll look lovely when you seam the sleeve and the pattern increases appear out of that seam. Well done!
Looks very nice!
Hey guys, thanks for all your encouragement/support…so I finally finished all the pieces and now it’s time to join them together. Any tips on how I should go about it? Do u recommend blocking the pieces first?
You’ll want to block after you’re done seaming them together.
To join, pin them together first then use a mattress stitch. There are tons of resources to show you how. Here’s a video on YouTube that walks you through the basics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJ7KEGUTlJM.
