Sleeve increasing in pattern - help!

Hi all!
I’m having a bit of trouble understanding the sleeve increase portion of a pattern.
It’s a 16-row repeat, with some rows increasing one stitch at each end of the row.
After the first 16-row repeat it says:

‘Cont as set (throughout) inc 1 st at each end of next and every foll 6th row to 79 sts working inc sts in patt’

So I assume I’m increasing at each end of the next row, then 7th, 13th, 19th etc. However, for instance, row 13 already has an increase of 1 st at each end in the repeat pattern. So do I increase 2 sts at each end on row 13??

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much!

I would just do the one increase at each end on row 13

Thank you @KnotJules! Would you also ignore the other increases at both ends laid out in the pattern, and just increase on every 6th row going forward?

Thank you so much for your input

You are welcome. I would do a increase at each end every 6 rows until I have 79 stitches. Just like you are thinking, one increase on both ends on row 7, 13, 19, 25 and so on. Happy knitting
