My pattern says “Beginning this row, increase 1 stitch each side every 14 rows.” Does that mean start counting on this row and then increase on the 14th row (4 times) , or does it mean I should increase this row and then again on the 14th (and twice more)?

Also… if the first row that I count is on the right side, then I would increase on the 14th row on the wrong side?

You’ll do your increase on ‘this’ row. Then do your next on the 14th row after that.

Increase this row (right side)
Knit 13 rows even and then increase on the 14th (also a right side)
