I’m knitting a baby cardigan sleeves are SS and need some clarity. Pattern says to increase on 3rd and following 5th row. So, I do the following
Row 1 knit
Row 2 purl
Row 3 knit and increase
Row 4 purl
Row 5 knit
Row 6 purl
Row 7 knit
Row 8 purl and increase
Then increase again on row 13 which will be a knit row.
I thought all increases were on knitted rows. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Purl increases aren’t as commonly used, but sometimes necessary. It certainly looks like you came to the right conclusion, here.
