I’m working on the Central Park Hoodie & I’m to the part in the pattern where the sleeve begins increasing…
"cont. in patt & at the same time inc 1 st at each end of needle every 8th row 10 times (for my size)…this means a total of two increases per row? 58 sts."
I’m headed to bed, obviously I can’t think. I think I have it right though, if I inc 1 st at each end of the RS rows, right? :?? gonna post in the questions forum too…just for kicks and giggles.
According to what you said you will increase two on the increase rows, one at the beginning and one at the end. It will not be increased on each right side row, but only every 8th row. If you do the first increase on a RS row, doing it the 8th row after that will always make it fall on a RS row.
It is usually best to put the increase in one stitch from the edge, at least.
