Sleeve decreases question

Hi all! I am knitting Super-Natural Stripes baby sweater by f.pea, that I found on Ravelry and am working on the sleeve decreases. How would you interpret the following?

Knit 4 rows even.
Next rnd: K to last 2 st, K2 tog (1 st dec).
K 4 rows and dec 1 st.
Dec 4 (6, 8) total st in this manner (30, 32, 34 st rem).

My question comes in the 3rd and 4th lines. Would you knit 3 rows and on the 4th dec 1 st? Or would you knit 4 rows even (like the first line) and then the next row dec 1 st?

Thanks for your help! I have to say this is a fun baby sweater to knit! It is my 1st sweater, and its awesome to knit top down raglan, and the striping is alot of fun! :woot:

Oh, that’s a cute sweater!

The description isn’t written horribly clearly, but based on the picture I think it’s decreasing every 4th row (after the first time)… that’s just a guess though… you could always throw in a lifeline and frog it if it looks wrong

Thanks for the reply!! What you said is what I actually am doing…and I think it will work out well, if I did 4 rows and then the increase, I’m afraid the little sleeve would get a tad bit too long.

It IS a cute sweater! If I can ever figure out how to post pics, I’ll show post it in the Whatcha Knittin? forum.
