Sleeve decrease

I am decreasing a sleeve and need help starting with 28 stitches I cast off 3 stitches at beginning of next 2 rows then I decreased 1 stitch at each end of next 2 rows then on 1 following alt row then it says then (2) 4th rows which I don’t understand the rest is work 1 row more then decrease 1rst at each end of following 1 alt rows then each of 0 foll rows cast off remaining 12 stitches. I’m not getting 12 stitches left

What is the name of your pattern?
It looks like a decrease of 16-18 sts depending on whether it’s the 2 following 4th rows or only the following 4th row. Remember too that you’re dec at each end of the rows.
Cast off 3 sts at the beginning of rows 1 and 2. Dec at each end of rows 3 and 4, row 6 and then either row 10 or rows 10 and 14 (depending on whether it’s the 2 following 4th or only one foll 4th). Then on the following alternate row (either row 12 or 16).
