Slip a stitch. Knit 2 together. Pass slipped stitch over the stitch you just knit. (This amounts to decreasing 2 stitches.)
(I saw something really similar in a pattern just yesterday and was able to hunt that down. If it makes you feel better - I didn’t know what it meant, either.)
Slip one, K2tog, pass the slipped stitch over.
Slip the next stitch as through you were going to knit it, but just slip it to the right hand needle.
Knit the next two stitches together.
Pass the stitch you slipped over the stitch at the end of your right hand needle (that was made by the K2tog), and off the tip of the right hand needle. That is done like you would the bind off of a stitch.
