i got a great deal of some yarn (50 cents for a 5 gram balls)
I want to use each ball to make a square (and put the squares together to make a blanket)
is there anyway to determine the max size each square can be using a single ball?

If you know how many yards each ball is, you could make these, using half the yardage for the first half, then start decreasing.

or you could use half the weight for the increase side, then decrease.
I dont know how many yards each ball is…
so i just found the middle of the yarn and knitted that pattern until i hit the center
than measured the width of the cloth
than frogged it and am know making squares accordingly… so much work! but hey, it worked!
