Hi my name is Susan. I need some help with this pattern that I am knitting. It is Sirdar pattern # 2571( hooded pullover sweater). For the hood border the pattern states the following:
1st Row: *K1,p1,rep from last * to last st, k1
2nd Row: P1,k1,p1, rep from
1st and 2nd rows set 1x1 rib
3rd Row: K1,p1,k1,yfwd, k2 tog, rib to last 5 sets, k2tog,yfwd,k1,p1,k1
Work 11 rows more.
Cast off in rib.
Do I work these 11 rows the same as the 3rd row or do I go back to rows 1& 2 and work just the ribbing.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum!
It looks like the hood border is worked in the rib pattern as set in rows 1 and 2. You’ll be able to see the columns of knits and purls to keep the pattern aligned.
The 3rd row is just a single row to make the eyelet openings for the drawstring that will go through the hemmed hood border. You’ll only work it once.
Thank you so much. I thought that was correct, but wasn’t sure.
