Help please . I’ve finished the fisherman’s rib in the first column. I’m on to “Shape Raglans”. My confusion is directions state cast off 6 stitches on the next 2 rows, which would leave 67 stitches for the size I am making. However when I read the next step 1st row after you knit 2 together you are left with 65 stitches. Where am I casting off? TY in advance for helping to understand this.

Welcome to KH!
You’re working the back of the sweater. The cast off of 6sts at the beginning of the next two rows will form the underarm. (67sts remaining)
On the next row you k2tog at the beginning and end of the row so that’s a decrease of 2sts leaving you with 65sts. This is the beginning of the raglan armhole decreases.
The fisherman’s rib will continue on this decrease row and the rows that follow.
There will be further decreases up the raglan armhole too.
TY for taking the time to respond. I am currently at 79 stitches as I should be for my size in the first column. The next collates cast off on the next 2 row. Which rows? The next instruction is k2tog.
You’ve just finished working “… 4 rows more.” at the bottom of column one. At the top of column 2: call it row 5, a right side (rs) row, begin by casting off 6sts, work in pattern to the end of the row, turn. For row 6 a wrong side row (ws) begin by casting off 6sts then work to the end of row.
