Simple Ribbed hat

I’m knitting a simple ribbed hat in K2 P2 ribbing on circular needles. It’s my first hat on circular needles. I’m making them on size 10.5 16" needles, with soft cotton yarn.

I love a simple 2x2 ribbed hat! Kind of mariner in look!
One of my favorite hat patterns is the Jacques Cousteau Hat ! It’s a 2x2 rib, also! Free at Ravelry!
