I’ve already posted this on the Year of the Stash 2008 KAL, but still I’ll post it here too :teehee:. Silver’s Palindrome Scarf knit with 4 balls of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran in Rusty Red with 5 mm Options, which weren’t the best for this yarn, 'cause they made it split like crazy :hair:. Except for the splitting, it’s a lovely yarn - soft and generally very nice. It’s for my dear MIL for New Year and I really hope she’ll like it. She always appreciates my knitting. It’s a long scarf and at the end I felt like it’s taking ages and ages to knit, when actually it was about 2 weeks with a few days of really knitting it.
And big thank you to Silver for the wonderful pattern. I did keep marveling at the reversibility!
Silver's Palindrome Scarf for dear MIL
It’s beautiful, Nat!
It’s always good to post here as well. A lot of people don’t go into the specific forums if they aren’t involved in whatever it is.
I like it–it’s beautiful, the color too.
I’ve been knitting scarves lately, very therapeutic…
Beautiful job and I LOVE the colour. I am sure she is going to be thrilled with it!

It’s such a beautiful scarf – I love cashmerino, and the color’s fabulous.

:happydance: I love the color!! Great job
simple beautful:)
Thank you everyone for your encouraging comments . Means a lot to me.
I liked it more than the IHS, because you can wear it and not bother about the side that is showing.
That is gorgeous!! I am sure your DMIL will LOVE it!!
I just finished a woven cable headband for my DMom in the exact same yarn (same color too!) and it was a little splitty, but worth it in the end. Of course the headband didn’t take nearly as long this lovely scarf! Great job!
Very pretty!!
This one is a double YUM YUM! Great color. Doesn’t the right color make all the difference!?? You are a wonderful knitter! Thanks for sharing your work with us!
