Sideways Rib Reversible Scarf

ok, here’s what it looks like:

Sideways Rib Reversible Scarf

This pattern creates ‘ribs’ of stockinette and reverse stockinette, showing a different color on each side.
Re: changing colors - I don’t recommend floating the colors for this pattern - cut and leave a tail long enough to weave in. I also knotted the two colors together at each color change.

You will need :
2 skeins Caron Simply Soft
(1 skein of each color)
Size 8 US needles - circular

Cast on 200 st with your main color(MC)
row 1-knit 5, purl to last 5, knit 5-turn
row 2-knit -turn
*change colors -
row 3-with CC, knit
row 4 -knit 5, purl to last 5, knit 5
row 5 - knit
row 6 -knit 5, purl to last 5, knit 5
change colors
row 7-with MC,knit 5, purl to last 5, knit 5
row 8- knit
row 9- knit 5, purl to last 5, knit 5
row10 -knit *
repeat pattern from * twice
change colors
with CC, repeat rows 3,4,5, and 6
change colors
with MC, repeat rows 1 and 2, binding off on row 2

Weave in ends.

Looks wonderful… I did a scarf where I CO 400 I like knitting them this better than the other way seems to go faster gonna give it a try if everyone would stop adding to my TO DO list :lol:

Thanks for all the :thumbsup: guys… I love this pattern too, and I was so proud of myself for figuring it out… and then I walk into an LYS a few weeks ago, and they have the same scarf, only multi-colored :verysad: … here I thought I was so clever :doh: :roflhard:
