Hi everyone, I am looking for a shrug pattern for my 2 1/2 year old. free patterns if possible.
Go to knitting Pattern Central there are tons of shrugs on there including ones for kids. I found one called the girlfriend shrug and it is easy to do and quite cute. and most of the patterns on there are free.

Does anyone have suggestions for yarn sub for the girlfriend shrug (the first one)? As far as patterning goes- I love the way that yarn patterned, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere…
well, it’s a sock yarn so you could try any self patterning sock yarn.
maybe moda dea sock yarn or maybe some feelings sock yarn by Opal…
there are a lot out there…
