Shrug ? - need to put opening onto circs

Hello-

I am knitting a simple shrug-type sweater and have run into a problem. This pattern has you knit from wrist to wrist, sew up the sleeves, leaving an opening. At this point you are supposed to put the opening onto circular needles in 200 stitches. I’m not sure how to thread the opening onto the needles…Can anyone give me a quick how-to? Many thanks in advance!

You would actually pick up the sts around the edges. There’s a video on the Tips page, about 3/4 of the way down.
