I just finished my Ribbed Lace Bolero and turned out too big all over. I was wondering if I blocked it with really hot water if it would tighten up a little. I knit it in Aurora 8 which is 100% merino. Has anyone done this before? Any ideas on how it might turn out?
Shrinking Merino
Shrinking a wool item is known as felting it and that’s permanent. So I would really advise reknitting it smaller.
