I need clarifications for shoulder shaping directions. It says “At each shoulder edge bind off 4 sts.”. I know it means at the beginning of the row, but does it mean as I approach the end of the row which would be the other shoulder edge, that I should bind off 4 sts. as well? It continues with instructions to bind off 4 sts. 11 times, etc. I think these directions mean to bind off at the beginning of the row only - but I’m not sure.
Shoulder shaping directions
It’s simplest to bind off at the beginning of a row. Start the RS row by binding off 4sts, work to the end of the row, turn and bind off 4sts at the beginning of the WS row. The bind offs will be offset one row but it won’t be noticeable.
What is the name of your pattern and designer?
I don’t remember where I got the pattern - it was published by Lana Grossa, and it was just called Pullover Ecopuno, Design 23, Lookbook10
Thank you for the help! I can resume this project which I set aside for over a year!
If I come across other instructions where I need help, I’ll be writing you.
