Short rows in the round

Hi! I’ve been trying to do short rows while knitting in the round and I keep having problems. Here’s what I’m doing:

  1. knit to turning point, slip next stitch purlwise, bring yarn to the front, place stitch back on left needle, bring yarn to back, turn work.
  2. purl to next turning point, slip next stitch knitwise, bring yarn to the back, place stitch back on left needle, bring yarn to the front.
  3. knit around to first wrapped stitch. knit the wrap and stitch together
  4. knit to 2nd wrapped stitch, knit the wrap and stitch together.

What am I doing wrong? I keep ending up with a hole at the 2nd wrapped stitch.

You can absolutely post a link to a tutorial or article that explains knitting technique.

Thanks for the link. I have actually used that method before and thought it was too noticeable. Maybe I was doing something wrong with that one too?
