Short rows in the round?

my pattern for some shorties are worked in the round, yet Im at the part of the pattern to begin short row shaping for cloth diaper bootys, and it says

Short Row Shaping (where you work two short rows sets: see appendix for tutorial)
Knit around to 1 stitch before Marker A, wrap next stitch and TURN.
Purl across to 1 stitch before Marker B, wrap next stitch and TURN.
Knit across to 4 stitches before Marker A, wrap next stitch and TURN.
Purl across to 4 stitches before Marker B, wrap next stitch and TURN.

Ive done short rows before in the coloramity from Knitty, but this looks to me as if Im suppost to switch to straights… is this right?? or do I simply follow the pattern on my circs, but just use them like straights…

I think I just answered my question huh? :teehee:

Uh huh. That’s what you’d do.

ok, so I figured that one out, thank you but, Im now stuck again…

To perform a wrap, you will come to the point where the short row is to begin.
• Slip the next stitch as if you were going to purl it.(See picture, step 1)
• Bring the working yarn between the needles (see picture, step 2)
• Return the slipped stitch to the left hand needle (see picture, step 3).
• Turn the work, and bring the yarn between the needles again, to the front if you are
about to work a purl row and to the back if you are about to work a knit row

Ive just finished purling a row, so Im looking at the WS and my working yarn is already facing me, if I slip the next stitch purl wise, theres no yarn to move…Am I missing something here??
