I have done short rows for bust shaping before, but this time I’m working the sweater from the top down rather than from the bottom up, and am wondering if the short rows work the same way in this situation. In my head, it seems that the darts will be pointing the wrong way if I’m working from the top down, that they will be pointing down rather than up. Any ideas?

I’d still be curious what the answer to this is, so thanks for the bump, but I went with no short rows on the top I’m making and it is fine!
