Ok, please tell me I did this right.
Here’s what the pattern say’s…
knit 2 rows
Place a stitch marker after 22(A) of the stitches and at 66(B) of the
stitches when you reach stitch marker B, work a short row back when you reach stitch marker (A) turn back around and continue knitting for
3 rows. repeat a short row set from marker (B) back to (A) and on again.
knit 3 rows
And here’s what I did…
After I knit 2 rows I placed my stitch markers on that 2nd row where the
pattern called for them. Then I knit (on the 3rd row) to the 2nd stitch marker, did the wrap thing and purled back to the first stitch marker. I then did the wrap thing again and knit back to the first stitch marker and picked up that loop that I formed when I did the wrap and just continued knitting to the end of the row.
Does that sound correct? So that was knitting one short row, correct?
And that is what my pattern asked, right?
So now according to my pattern I need to knit 3 rows and then (on the 4
th row) do another short row just as I did above, right?
LOL, I need a lot of confirmation.
Thank goodness for the video clips on this site. I used them to learn how to do this. I am a very new knitter and am working on my second project (a pair of wool pants). My first project was a hat for my ds.
