Shetland lace

I need help with the Rose of York-shawl, has anybody knitted this? Its a Shetland lace christening shawl , and I do not understand how to knit the pip-stitch in the Rose & Anchor-section. A pip-stitch is described like this : “Insert needle into stitch purlwise. Pass wool under point of needle to back of work, and knit into back of stitch. Pass purledloop over knitted stitch.” I have tried , but it just looks odd. Has anybody made a video about this?
Grateful for help

This one certainly is a pip! I’m not sure what it’s supposed to look like but mine turned out looking like a stitch with a double collar around it. Can you identify the stitch in a picture of the shawl?
