Shaping of armhole

Hello,

I knitting my second cardigan. But having problems understanding the pattern for the the shaping the armholes it states

Starting with 124sts and finishing with 100sts

“begin shaping the armhole and bind off on both ends of the row on every 2nd row 1x6 sts and 6x1 sts”

Do I bind off 6 sts every other rows. Or bind off 1 sts on each end 6 times?

Actually, both.
If you call the first bind off row, row 1, you would bind off 6sts at the beginning of rows 1 and 2. Then you can decrease 1 stitch at each end of rows 3,5,7,9,11 and 13.
(If you prefer to bind off the single sts, you would bind off one stitch at the beginning of rows 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, 11,12, 13 and 14).
