Hi, I am confused with the pattern instructions for the cardigan sweater I am knitting. The pattern says work 5 rows dec 1 st at raglan edge in next and every foll alt row , AT SAME TIME dec 1 st at neck edge in every row. I’m not sure what this means. I get the 1 stitch every alternate row at raglan sleeve but am confused about where I make the decrease at neck edge. Please help !! Thank you

If you call the next row, row 1 then the raglan decreases are on rows 1,3 and 5. The neck edge decreases are worked at the same time on rows 1,2,3,4 and 5.
There may be an example of a decrease at the neck edge that shows you where to decrease. If not, you can decrease one or two sts in from the edge.
