Heya.
I’m attempting my first garment and I’m trying to shape the front but I’m having trouble understanding the last section.
Please could someone clarify “work each shoulder separately” for me.

I’m guessing they have you knit ‘x’ stitches across the row. Then join a new ball and bind off ‘y’ stitches and then finish knitting the last ‘x’ stitches. Now you’ve got 2 balls of yarn 1 attached to each side. You may need to do some mroe shapping at the outside/sleeve edge; you may need to do some shapping on the neck edge on each side. You’ll continue knitting each side with it’s own ball until you ge to the shoulder seam. Then you’ll bind off.
If you can show us the pattern directions we can probably be more detailed. Is it a free pattern you found on the internet? Even if it’s from a book you have, list the book and pattern name - someone will likely have it and can look it up.
