Shaping a neck

Ok, so I’m back to making that sweater, and the pattern says to decrease 3 sts at the centre edge once.But… I don’t think I know what the centre edge is? :thinking:

I looked back at your other posts about this sweater. Wouldn’t the center edge be where you had the markers? Or am I way off.

Honestly, I don’t know. I think it might be, but I don’t know how to bind off three stitches without there being like, all the stitches from the outside in and then a little gap and one stitch right in the middle. dflkj. I don’t know.

Well, do they say to decrease or to bind off?

Binding off the stitches will leave a gap, but you could knit two together three times at that central part and that would decrease it.
