Hi I am fairly new to knitting and am so confused by the instruction . The pattern says: Dec 1 St each end of next and 7 foll 4th rows, then on foll 5 rows. Can anyone help explain this as I really don’t know what rows I should be decreasing on?

Call the next row, row 1. The decreases at each end are on rows 1,5,9,13,17,21,25 and 29 then on rows 30,31,32,33 and 34.
