Hi there,
I’m struggling with this pattern (By Sarah Hatton “Bracken” v neck split jumper with ridged central panel). In the section Shape Front & Armhole it gives instructions for two separate rows, saying these 2 rows set armhole and front neck shaping. These are; Next Row Patt 14, sl1,K1,pssp, patt to last 4 sts,k2tog,K2 (2sts dec’d) NEXT Row P2,p2togtbl, patt to end (1st dec’d) Then Dec 1 st as set at neck edge of next and 3 foll alt rows, then on 0(0:0:0:1:1:1:1) foll 4th row and AT SAME TIME dec 1st at armhole edge of next 7 rows, then on 2(1:3:1:3:2:3:2) foll alt rows. So do I keep doing the 2 set rows and change them where it says "Then Dec 1st as set at neck edge if next and foll alt rows, etc,.Thanks Maggie
The two rows give you the placement of the decreases at the armhole and the neck. Follow the directions for the correct rows in which to make the decreases (every other row, every row, etc)
Which size are you making?
Hi there, Thank you so much for your reply and the advice. I am making a size 12. I will undo what I have done one the right hand side as far as the v neck split and hope for the best, many thanks.
Maggie
