Hi! I have several questions, figured I throw them into one topic.

I have an antique pattern for a gorgeous lace doily. It calls for size 50 cotton crochet yarn and size 00 needles. If I used size 30, would it just turn out a bit larger? And if so, what size needles?

What’s the best ways to get pills off a knit project? (My DS’s backpack made of Lion’s Jiffy Thick & Quick.)

I want to knit and felt a bear that is as close as possible to Ty’s beanie bears. I’m thinking using a very light weight wool and ripping apart a “donor” bear to try and figure out a pattern because I’ve been looking for a pattern for a couple of years and haven’t found one really close. Any suggestions about any aspect of this would be really appreciated.

My DS (the one who always challenges me with impossible sounding projects) now wants what basically amounts to a down-stuffed quilt. Do you think if I knit double the length in yarn that felts well, stuffed it and sewed it together, it could work?
