Semi-OT: Sewing plush toy pattern or tutorial? Anyone?

I’m in need of a horse plush toy sewing pattern or a tutorial on how to make them from scratch…or perhaps even a modify-able pattern for another animal into a horse.

Thanks in advance… I will love you forever!

Knitted is okay too, I just prefer sewing at this point for this project.

I wonder if you could modify this somehow?

Ooh, I’ve knitted that before hehe. I am not quite sure how I’d go about that, but it may be possible. I have a while to see what I can do. Thanks for the suggestion  I may be trying it if I don’t get more responses or if I can’t think of anything else.

How about this?

how would I modify that for a horse exactly? :??

I have a horse pattern around here somewhere - its from a magazine in the 60’s that my aunt gave me… I have a folder of lots of different stuffed animal designs from the same magazine, I wonder where I put it…

ooooh, really??

I made it for my daughter ages ago. I have a file folder of all of my plush toy patterns, I’ll see if I can find it and PM you. 8)

oh thank you sooo much! :happydance:

I moved all my sewing stuff into one room and stuff isn’t totally organized yet.

I"ll keep looking 8)

Not exactly a horse, but pretty darn close!

I’ll go take a picture of the horse - it also has a cow, chickens and ducks 8)

I know you wanted sewing, but knitted is better than nothing

Oh that’s so cute! I 'm thinking of just sewing the horse, bought fabric yesterday because I have to get it done really soon, but if you wouldn’t mind, I’d like the pattern still, and if not, that’s fine too  Thanks for the offer! If you do send it to me, I’ll see if I can knit it up in time!
