I have a pattern that calls for a selvedge stitch at the end of each neck edge. Can anyone tell me how to make a selvedge stitch? Thank you!
A selvage stitch is a normal stitch at the end or beginning of a row that’s always knit or slipped.
It’s just the edge st at both ends of the row and it may be knitted or purled, depending on if you’re on the RS or WS. Or slipped at the beg of the row and knit as the last st.
