Seed stitch shoes

I need some one to explain to me what this pattern is saying .
[It says Seed st 1 row . Then it says. Work in seed st and inc one st at each end of next and every foll alt row until ther are 32 sts, work all increase sts in seed st, so keeping the continuity of the pattern. Dec one st at each end of next and every foll alt row until 22 sts rem. ] in brackets is what I need someone to explain it to me thanks

Usually seed stitch is a (k1, p1) repeat on row 1. Row 2 is knit the purl sts (the bumps) and purl the knit sts (the Vs).
So work one row of seed sts. Starting on the next row increase at each end of the knit piece (2 stitches increased per increase row). I usually make the increase stitch as a knit stitch and work it into the seed stitch pattern on the next row. Do this every other row until there are 32sts.
Once you have 32sts, begin the next row by decreasing one stitch at each end of the row, again every other row until there are 22sts.
