I had problems getting the join to cooperate, but I started over, probably the third time tonight, and this time it worked perfectly. I now have an inch done on the second sock of my first pair. I’m very excited!

Congrats! I understand the excitement. I am soooo anxious to see my first ever sock. Your colourway choice is fantastic! What is it called and what yarn is that you are using? It looks very similar to the yarn I am using for my first ever socks, which is Bernat Satin Sport in a colourway called “Seashore”.
