I have been searching for a pattern for a baby bib. I’ve only seen a picture and have never looked at the pattern itself, so I’m not sure how it’s done but I’ll try to describe it.
It’s knitted sideways. You’d cast on just a few stitches and knit garter stitch, increasing 1 st each row at the same edge, to make a sideways triangle shape.
Does anybody know what pattern I’m talking about?
thanks,
knitcindy
That’s a close one, but the one I’ve seen is in garter stitch, with the rows going vertically up and down.
If I can’t find the one I’m thinking of, I might just go ahead and use this one!
Thanks,

If you can’t find it you could just make your own! I found a lot of garter stitch sideways knitted bibs, but they were all square, not triangular.
TA DA!!!
I found that pattern I was looking for!! It was in a magazine called “Knit 1-2-3”. I am so glad my search is over.
