I am currently knitting the Seamless Yoked Sweater by Carole Barenys as seen here: http://knitting.about.com/library/blbabyswe9.htm.
I have gotten through the first 40+ rows, but am stumped on what happens next.
I currently have 190 sts on my needles. The layout is as follows: 31 sts, marker, 36 sts, marker, 56 sts, marker, 36 sts, marker, 31 sts.
The pattern reads:
Next Row (RS): Work to within 2 sts of marker, increase in next st, K 1, remove marker, CO 4 sts under arm, remove marker, increase in next st; work across the back and repeat between stars (130) (150) sts
Work even, keeping button bands and working buttonholes where needed.
I understand knitting to within 2 sts of marker, increasing in next st and K1. The next line is driving me nuts. It tells me to remove the marker twice. Could this be a mistake? Or do I remove the next marker, too? If that’s the answer, what do I do with all the sts in between?
If anyone could break this section of the pattern down for me, I would be extremely grateful. I’m just not sure exactly how I should continue in the body of the sweater.
Thanks!
