Seaming a sweater?

What’s the best way to seam my sweater? I’ve got a front, a back and two sleeves knit in the round.

Should I seam up the front and back and then add the sleeves…or should I seam up the shoulders, add the sleeves, and then seam the sides?

This is my first sweater, I’ll take any tips or tricks! :slight_smile:

Seam the shoulders, sides and then set in sleeves. Best to mark the sleeve cap at intervals to correspond to top, bottom and middle of each side of armhole so you’re able to do even insertion. Don’t want to find yourself with more of sleeve cap on one side (front/back) than the other.
