Seam question

If you’ve made a jacket with 2 strands of worsted held throughout, would you use a double strand to seam? On one side, I feel like I should because the single strand might be too light and cause some sort of puckering? maybe? and on the other hand I feel like the double strand will be too bulky and too much stress on the seamed stitches…

A seam will puck only if it’s pulled tight so you can use just the single strand and it should be fine.
