I’m happy overall with how this turned out. I learned a lot while working on it and finished in time for my parents anniversary.
'Scrabble' blanket is off the needles!!
You parents will treasure it! Thanks for letting us see how it turned out.
Wow!
Impressive!
This will be treasured!
Oh, wow. That is an impressively large number of color changes.
Lovely that’s a nice gift.
Color changes are one of my favorite parts of knitting - and now I feel empowered to get more adventurous since this blanket taught me how to lock floats to keep the back side neat!
I am so glad that it turned out the way it did. I crochet but don’t knit. Whenever I tried to knit, my stitches were either too tight to move on the needles or so loose that if I tipped the needles the work was “off the needles”. When I saw the title of your post, I got a knot in my stomach. I was so glad to see that it had a different meaning than I had thought.
I crocheted a bedspread for my nephew and his wife along with matching pillow shams. I included their names and wedding date with ribbons, hearts and doves. It took nearly as much time to put create the pattern as it did to make the set. I hope you get the appreciation you deserve. It is one of a kind and amazing.
