Score @ kmart!

 Picked up 14 balls of Patons Inca in two colours (blue for DH and pink for me), and 7 sets of straight needles (including some HUGE needles) for under AUS$80!!!

:cheering: She shoots! She scores!!! {sorry… hubby’s hockey must be rubbing off on me!} That really looks like great stuff. I’ve never seen {or heard of} the Inca… what fibre is that?

That yarn looks gorgeous! Congratulations!

:cheering: :cheering:
I wish my Kmart still sold yarn. :crying:

Wow! That’s a great haul! :cheering: :cheering:

We only have a Super Kmart and they don’t have any kind of yarn or needles or anything!

They got Kmart in Australia huh. Wow.

It’s 50% Wool, 30% Acrylic & 20% Alpaca.

It’s sooooo soft

We dont have a kmart anymore :frowning:

I remember when (yeah, I’m that old) Kmart used to have fabric and yarn. Maybe if Martha started promoting knitting more

That’s a good idea. We should all inundate Martha with emails.

Yes way back in the day, KMart, Target and Walmart all had a sewing section with fabric and yarn.

Yeah my dad only went to kmart when he bought knitting supplies…

But I haven’t been to our Mart for AGES here… and let me tell ya… it’s not the best… it’s pretty “run-down” if you wanna call it that… hopefully it will get better now that Sears is behind it…

The last time I was there tho, I couldn’t find any knitting stuff anymore… which kinda disappointed me… mostly I go to Walmart now (Cause it’s close) and there is a Michaels about 20 minutes away on the other side of town I’ll go to for specific things (other than readheart or lion)

:S But still have NOT found a good place to buy needles in town yet…

Wow, I didn’t even realize Kmart sold yarn. Then again, the last time I was in a Kmart was probably close to 10 years ago and I’m lucky to remember what I did yesterday, never mind a decade ago.

hehe… Umm, don’t forget I’m on the other side of the world. Not all our Kmarts still sell yarn. I was very lucky, I think, to find such a decent yarn…
