Scarves for Christmas

These are two scarves I made as Christmas presents for two of my sisters (I am still working on the scarf for my third sister). The patterns are from Victorian Lace Today. Both were a lot of fun. The yarn in the first one is a superwash sock wool from Miss Babs (which I found to be a little splitty but the color ‘garnet’ is beautiful). The yarn for the second one is from Vancalcar Acres and is their flock sock yarn – I loved this yarn and the colorway (chocolate roses)… I got both the yarns from woolgirl.com-- you should check out the site. She runs contests alot which are fun.

These scarves are absolutely beautiful! Where did you get the pattern??? I love them. Were they hard to do? I am still a novice knitter…

OOps I see you did say where you got the pattern…sorry!

They look beautiful. Great gifts

Beautiful. Lovely work

the first one would be pretty easy to do for a novice knitter as the middle part is just slip stitch. The directions for the lace are very clear. The book ‘victorian lace today’ is just gorgeous,

Those are Fabulous!!:inlove:

I’m making scarves for Christmas too. At the rate I’m going, they may be for NEXT Christmas…lol.:roflhard:

I love them.

Those are amazing! Do you need another sister?
