Scarf Help

Im thinking about trying this scarf:
Would I need three needles? Ive placed the confusing part in BOLD.

SCARF:
Size: approx 18 x 220 cm

Materials: GARNSTUDIO’s Eskimo
150g colour no 23, dark beige
200g colour no 30, pale pink

Needles: 20mm

Knitting tension: 5 sts using double thread Eskimo and 20mm needles = width 10cm

Pattern: knit 2 together, yarn over needle, repeat from to until the end of row and finish with knit 1. Repeat this row – knit pattern on every row.

Scarf: Cast on 9 sts using 2 needles and 1 thread of each colour. Remove 1 needle and knit pattern. When scarf measures approx 220cm, cast off loosely.

Pompoms:
Make 4 pompoms with a diameter of 7-8 cm using pale pink and attach pompoms in each corner of scarf.

It looks like they want you to cast on with the two needles held parallel to each other to make the cast on looser. If you use long tail cast on, you won’t need a third.

I agree with Ingrid, I do it this way always…

Pattern: knit 2 together, yarn over needle, repeat from to until the end of row and finish with knit 1. Repeat this row – knit pattern on every row.

Okay, so what does the repeat from to mean?

So for every row i just…
row 1: knit 2 together, yarn over needle, repeat…
row 2: same?
row 3: same? etc…?

TIA!

You got it!
