Scandanavian knitted jumper help!

Hi everyone,

I am knitting this beautiful jumper and have finished knitting the body. I am up to the part where it says slip 9 stitches either side of marker.
I can’t see anywhere in the rest of the pattern where I pick these stitches back up? It just says at the end to sew under the sleeves.

It also says to slip 9 stitches when knitting the sleeves but again I can’t see where these would be picked back up.

Any help would ge greatly appreciated. ![17362763652121766258519099663426|1200x900](upload://rhfAwJ7D084L5bT66ggPbM7Fdmx.jpeg)

Welcome to KH!
Is it possible that these sts are at the neck of the sweater and perhaps form the neckband? Check the directions for a collar or neckband and see if the held sts are mentioned.
What is the name of your pattern and designer?

I can’t see your uploaded picture. Is the pattern a circular yoke bottom up sweater, where you join the two sleeves and body together, and then carry on decreasing through the yoke?

I’ve made one previously where you put a certain number of body stitches on hold on each side, and a similar number of sleeve stitches on hold when you join to the body. You then graft the body and sleeve stitches together to form the armpit. Could this be it?
